Artificial intelligence startup Sierra, led by former Salesforce (CRM) co-CEO Bret Taylor, has hit a milestone of $100M in annual recurring revenue, tech reporter Alex Heath said.
That’s up from roughly $20M a year ago, Heath reported on his website. Like other enterprise software firms such as Salesforce, Sierra signs deals for at least 12 months — oftentimes multi-year deals — bills its customers annual and allows them to take up to 30 days before paying.
Sierra, which creates AI agents for customer experience teams and developers via its Agent OS, is led by Taylor. He is also the Chairman of OpenAI, a board member at Shopify (SHOP) and has worked at Meta Platforms (META) and other tech companies.
In September, Sierra announced it had raised $350M in new funding, which valued it at $10B.
Sierra did not immediately respond to a request for comment from Seeking Alpha.
