Nvidia (NVDA) unveiled new artificial intelligence tools for speech, safety and autonomous driving on Monday, including open-source software.
NVIDIA showed off what it is calling “open physical AI models and tools to support research, including Alpamayo-R1, the world’s first industry-scale open reasoning vision language action model for autonomous driving,” the company said on its website. The Jensen Huang-led company also released new models and datasets for speech and AI safety.
Alpamayo is capable of thinking out loud as it plans its path through the world. It will be available on GitHub and Hugging Face, Nvidia added.
The tech giant also made updates to its Nvidia Cosmos models and multi-speaker speech AI models, known as Nemotron.
Nvidia shares were fractionally higher in midday trading on Monday.
