Nvidia rolls out Nemotron 3 open models for building agentic AI applications

Nvidia (NVDA) has started rolling out its Nemotron 3 open models, which it contends are the most efficient family of open models for building agentic artificial intelligence applications.

Nemotron 3 Nano is available today, while the larger Super and Ultra models are expected to be available during the first half of 2026.

“Open innovation is the foundation of AI progress,” said Jensen Huang, founder and CEO of Nvidia. “With Nemotron, we’re transforming advanced AI into an open platform that gives developers the transparency and efficiency they need to build agentic systems at scale.”

Nvidia said some early adopters of the Nemotron family of models include Accenture (ACN), Cadence Design Systems (CDNS), CrowdStrike (CRWD), Cursor, Oracle (ORCL), Palantir (PLTR), Perplexity, ServiceNow (NOW), Synopsys (SNPS) and Zoom (ZM).

“Today, we’re taking a major step forward in empowering leaders across all industries to fast-track their agentic AI strategy,” said ServiceNow CEO Bill McDermott. “ServiceNow’s intelligent workflow automation combined with NVIDIA Nemotron 3 will continue to define the standard with unmatched efficiency, speed and accuracy.”

Nemotron 3 Nano is a 30B parameter model that activates up to 3B parameters at a time for targeted, highly efficient tasks. Nemotron 3 Super is a high-accuracy reasoning model with approximately 100B parameters and up to 10B active per token, for multi-agent applications. Nemotron 3 Ultra is a large reasoning engine with about 500B parameters and up to 50B active per token for complex AI applications.
