“The two sides exchanged views on the company’s business development in China and strengthening cooperation with China,” the agency said in a statement on Friday.
Shares rose 1% in premarket trading on Friday.
AMD did not immediately respond to a request for comment from Seeking Alpha on the nature of the meeting.
