The House of Representatives Thursday is set to vote on legislation that would extended the enhanced ACA subsidies that expired on Jan. 1 for another three years.
The vote is happening following a procedural motion that passed on Wednesday with the support of nine Republicans House members.
While the legislation is expected to pass in the House, its chances in the Senate are slim. However, a report Wednesday said a bipartisan group of senators are working on legislation that would extend the subsidies, albeit with new limitations.
