The three major mobile networks all experienced nationwide outages on Wednesday beginning at 9am ET and escalating through the morning, reaching peak outages at ~11am ET.
According to Downdetector, AT&T (T), Verizon (VZ), and T-Mobile (TMUS) were all impacted by a massive network outage, with the outage-tracking site logging more than 540,000 outage reports throughout the morning for Verizon (VZ), ~4,700 for AT&T (T) and ~5,150 for T-Mobile (TMUS).
The outages extended to other networks as well, including Boost Mobile, Cricket, and Consumer Cellular, all of which rely on cell towers for the major providers, specifically AT&T (T).
