Tech giant Google (GOOG) (GOOGL) said Thursday it is expanding its “Personal Intelligence” feature into AI Mode and allowing users to connect their Gmail and Photos to generate more custom responses based on their emails and images.
Google said that AI Mode will not train directly from an individual’s Gmail inbox or photo library but will instead learn from specific prompts and responses generated.
The ability to connect AI Mode to Gmail and Google Photos is rolling out as a “Labs” feature, the company said.
Connecting Gmail and Google Photos is strictly opt-in, the company said.
