Tesla (TSLA) has discontinued the Autopilot suite for all new Model 3 and Model Y vehicles sold in the U.S. and Canada, equipping new cars with only Traffic Aware Cruise Control (TACC), in an effort to increase subscriptions for its full self-driving software.
The Autopilot suite includes both TACC and Autosteer.
Last week, Tesla (TSLA) said it would stop charging an $8,000 one-time fee for full self-driving software after February 14 and instead charge $99 per month for access to the software.
