Palantir Technologies (PLTR) shares rose 6% in extended trading on Monday after the enterprise software company reported fourth-quarter results and guidance that topped Wall Street’s estimates.
For the period ending Dec. 31, Palantir said it earned an adjusted $0.25 per share as revenue rose 69.2% year-over-year to $1.4B. Included in that was a 93% rise in U.S. revenue to $1.076B. U.S. commercial revenue grew 137% year-over-year to $507M, while U.S. government revenue grew 66% year-over-year to $570M.
The company closed 180 deals worth at least $1M during the period, including 84 worth at least $5M and 61 worth at least $10M. It closed $4.262B in total contract value during the quarter, up 138% year-over-year, including $1.344B in U.S. commercial contracts. Customer count grew 34% year-over-year, Palantir added.
Analysts had expected the company to earn an adjusted $0.23 per share on $1.34B in revenue.
“Palantir’s Rule of 40 score is now an incredible 127%,” said Palantir CEO Alex Karp in a statement. “Last quarter, our U.S. revenue grew 93% year-over-year and U.S. commercial revenue grew 137% year-over-year. We are also announcing a 2026 revenue growth guide of 61% year-over-year. We are an n of 1, and these numbers prove it. Palantir is alone in choosing to exclusively focus on scaling the operational leverage made possible by the rapid advancements of AI models, a trend that we first called ‘commodity cognition’ well before others started repeating it.”
Looking ahead to the first-quarter of fiscal 2026, Palantir said it expects revenue to be between $1.532B and $1.536B, above the $1.33B estimate. Adjusted operating profit is forecast to be between $870M and $874M, above the consensus forecast.
For the full-year, Palantir said it expects revenue to be between $7.182B and $7.198B, above the consensus estimate of $6.28B. This includes at least $3.144B in U.S. commercial revenue, up at least 115% year-over-year.
Adjusted operating profit is forecast to be between $4.126B and $4.142B, while adjusted free cash flow is expected to be between $3.925B and $4.125B,
