New York-based hedge fund Third Point has seen a gain of 3.08% over the past one year, compared to the broader S&P 500 index’s 12.25% return.
Founded by American investor Daniel Loeb in 1995, the hedge fund is said to be focused on event-driven, value-oriented investing.
As part of its latest 13F filing, Third Point disclosed new stakes in Chipotle Mexican Grill (CMG), Alibaba (BABA), and Spotify (SPOT) in Q4 2025.
The fund increased its position in mortgage lender and real estate services firm Rocket Companies (RKT), among its fourth quarter moves.
Meanwhile, it exited positions in companies such as Primo Brands (PRMB), Meta Platforms (META), Core Scientific (CORZ), and Floor & Decor Holdings (FND).
As of December 31, 2025, the fund’s portfolio value stood at ~$7.27B, down from ~$7.44B at December 31, 2024.
PG&E (PCG) was its biggest holding, with the stock comprising ~8.6% of its portfolio. Other prominent holdings included NVIDIA (NVDA) (~7.6% of portfolio) and Union Pacific (UNP) (~6.7% of portfolio), according to data from stockcircle.com.
