Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing (TSM) rose 2.2% in premarket trade after the global foundry raised its forecast for 2025 revenue growth to the mid-30% range after reporting third-quarter results that beat estimates. The firm saw its third quarter 2025 net revenue grow 40.8% year-over-year to $33.10B.
Snowflake (SNOW) shares were up 6.3% before the market opened as the firm and Palantir (PLTR) announced a partnership on Thursday to integrate Snowflake’s AI data cloud with Palantir’s artificial intelligence platform. As part of the deal, customers in both the commercial and public sectors will have more efficient and trusted data pipelines, as well as faster access to data analytics and AI applications.
Charles Schwab’s (SCHW) stock rose 4.2% before the opening bell as the firm beat both its top and bottom line estimates for the third quarter. The company reported adjusted earnings per share of $1.31 and revenue of $6.14B. The firm’s daily average trading volume also rose 30% as compared to the prior quarter.
Alibaba (BABA) shares were up 0.4% in premarket trade as its multi-billion dollar investment in artificial intelligence is beginning to pay off for the Chinese e-commerce giant, defying critics that said it will take years for any company to see the benefits from their massive AI budgets. According to comments from Alibaba’s e-commerce business quoted by CNBC, the company is already seeing a 12% increase in returns on advertising spending.
