Stock index futures were steady on Tuesday, while yields inched lower, as Wall Street’s major averages touched record highs again, while investors looked forward to Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell’s speech. Here are four stocks to watch on the day:
Boeing Company (BA) rose 2.5% in premarket trade as reports suggested that the U.S. and China are in the final stages of negotiating a “huge” Boeing (NYSE:BA) aircraft order. The order under discussion could involve as many as 500 aircraft, potentially marking the firm’s largest Chinese deal since 2017. The order would form the cornerstone of a potential trade deal between the two nations; however, it is contingent on easing tensions.
Rocket Lab (RKLB) shares gained 0.6% in extended trading as the company said it has delivered two Explorer-class spacecraft to Kennedy Space Flight Center for NASA’s Escape and Plasma Acceleration and Dynamics Explorers mission. This is in partnership with the University of California, Berkeley’s Space Sciences Laboratory.
Kenvue (KVUE) was up 5.1% before the opening bell, even after the Trump administration warned that the painkiller’s use during pregnancy might be linked to autism. To note, the stock has lost more than a quarter of its value over the last six months amid repeated claims about Tylenol’s alleged link with autism.
Alibaba (BABA) stock rose 1% in premarket trade as it unveiled its open-source large language model called Qwen3-Omni, which can process text, images, audio, and video. The model can process text, images, audio, and video but delivers real-time streaming responses in text and natural speech.
