4 stocks to watch on Tuesday: NVDA, META, NBIS, ASTS

Stock index futures seesawed on Tuesday, as investors awaited any recent updates about the possible end of the U.S. government shutdown. Here are four stocks to keep an eye on:

Nvidia (NVDA) stock was down 1.7% in premarket trade as SoftBank (OTCPK:SFTBY) (OTCPK:SFTBF) sold its entire stake in the U.S. chipmaker, unloading 32.1M shares in October for $5.83B. SoftBank’s Vision Fund was an early Nvidia backer, building a roughly $4B stake in 2017 before fully exiting the position in January 2019.

Meta Platforms (META) fell 1.1% before the opening bell as chief artificial intelligence scientist Yann LeCun reportedly plans to leave the company to launch his own startup. LeCun is in early fundraising discussions, and the new venture will focus on advancing work on world models.

Nebius (NBIS) rose 3.1% premarket as the company announced an AI infrastructure deal with Meta Platforms (META) along with its third-quarter results. The company missed revenue in its third quarter. The firm reported revenue of $146.1M, missing estimates by $9.62M.

AST SpaceMobile (ASTS) shares fell 3% in early trading after the company reported quarterly profit and revenue below analysts’ estimates while cautioning that achieving its H2 revenue plan depends on several contingencies.
