Stock index futures jumped on Tuesday, as the July retail inflation report came largely in line, but core CPI was slightly hot on a yearly basis. Here are four stocks to watch on Tuesday:
Class A shares of On Holding (ONON) were up 12.6% in premarket trade after the Swiss footwear manufacturer reported another record quarter and raised their outlook for the full year thanks to continued strength in its direct-to-consumer channel.
Sea (SE) rose 11.5% before the opening bell after the e-commerce company’s second-quarter revenue beat estimates. The Singapore-based company, which operates the e-commerce platform Shopee, saw its revenue grow about 38.2% year-over-year to $5.3B, surpassing analysts’ estimates.
Intel (INTC) stock was up 3.9% in premarket trade as U.S. President Donald Trump said Intel (INTC) CEO Lip-Bu Tan’s success story is “amazing” less than a week after calling for his resignation. Last week, Trump posted that “The CEO of INTEL is highly CONFLICTED and must resign immediately. There is no other solution to this problem.”
Pfizer (PFE) was up 0.2% in extended trading as reports suggested that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is unlikely to renew the authorization granted to use Pfizer (PFE) and BioNTech’s (BNTX) COVID-19 vaccine in young children this fall
