Abercrombie & Fitch to join S&P MidCap 400

- Abercrombie & Fitch (NYSE:ANF) on Tuesday said that it would replace Equitrans Midstream (ETRN) in the S&P MidCap 400.
- The company added that Gates Industrial (GTES) would replace ANF in the S&P SmallCap 600, effective prior to the opening of trading on Monday, July 22.
- The company also said that S&P 500 constituent EQT (EQT) is acquiring Equitrans Midstream in a deal expected to close soon, pending final closing conditions.
