Evercore highlighted several key topics of conversations with investors in Europe, including AI and Oracle’s (NYSE:ORCL) growth prospects.
Analysts led by Kirk Materne said that during their trip to Europe the main topics of conversations with investors have been AI monetization trends across the sector, Oracle’s recent move and potential upside from here, Microsoft (NASDAQ:MSFT) Azure’s growth prospects, and names that have underperformed in the first half that could potentially catch up to the iShares Expanded Tech-Software Sector ETF (IGV) in the second half.
The analysts added that Investor sentiment is cautiously optimistic. From a company point of view, the interest level in Oracle is materially higher compared to six months ago, whereas interest in Salesforce (NYSE:CRM) has cooled off compared to their previous trip.
Year-to-date, Oracle’s stock has surged about 26%, while Microsoft has climbed about 14%. Meanwhile, Salesforce’s stock has declined about 22%.
