Artificial intelligence startup Sierra said on Thursday that it had raised $350M in new funding, giving the company a $10B valuation.
The new funding round is being led by venture capital firm Greenoaks, Sierra said in a blog post. Greenoaks has previously invested in the company.
Sierra, which creates AI agents for customer experience teams and developers via its Agent OS, is led by former Salesforce (NYSE:CRM) co-CEO Bret Taylor. Taylor is also the Chairman of OpenAI, a board member at Shopify (SHOP) and has worked at Meta Platforms (META) and other tech companies.
“We will use our new funding – along with our strong revenue growth and balance sheet – to increase our investments in our platform, US growth, and international expansion,” Taylor wrote in the post.
Taylor continued: “We’re in this for the long term – to create the platform on which the best customer experiences in the world are built. Making that dream a reality is all about execution: we need to deliver for every customer, every time, without exception. The opportunity ahead is enormous, for our customers, their customers, and Sierra.”
