Allurion stock soars 70% on weight-loss therapy update

Shares of Allurion (NYSE:ALUR) soared 70% in post-market trading Thursday after ending the regular session 21% higher on news the company plans to conduct a clinical study of its gastric balloon weight-loss product in combination with GLP-1 drugs.
