Anthropic, the generative artificial intelligence company that is backed by Amazon (NASDAQ:AMZN) and several other tech companies, announced on Wednesday it is launching a version of Claude geared towards large businesses.
“The Claude Enterprise plan offers an expanded 500K context window, more usage capacity, and a native GitHub integration so you can work on entire codebases with Claude,” Anthropic said in a blog post. “It also includes enterprise-grade security features—like SSO, role-based permissions, and admin tooling—that help protect your data and team.”
The company did not disclose pricing for Claude Enterprise, though an Anthropic employee told TechCrunch it would cost more than its Teams plan, which costs $30 per month per member.
OpenAI, which competes with Anthropic, unveiled its ChatGPT for Enterprise tool in August 2023.
Amazon announced last September that it would invest up to $4B in Anthropic and take a minority stake in the company. Amazon also made an investment in Anthropic this past March.
