Amazon rolls out $20-or-less ‘Haul’ store to rival Temu, Shein
Amazon (NASDAQ:AMZN) is introducing a new section in its shopping app and website called ‘Amazon Haul,’ featuring products priced $20 and under, to help the e-commerce giant compete with low-cost apps Temu (PDD) and Shein.
The offering is being rolled out in beta and will be available to U.S. customers when they next update their Amazon Shopping app. Amazon Haul has its own shopping experience, search, cart, and checkout to help customers hunt for bargains conveniently.
All featured items are priced $20 or less, with the majority priced $10 and under, and some as low as $1. Typical delivery times will be 1-2 weeks.
The products in Amazon Haul are backed by Amazon’s (AMZN) A-to-z Guarantee, which covers all purchases whether they are sold by Amazon or a selling partner.
“It’s early days for this experience, and we’ll continue to listen to customers as we refine and expand it in the weeks and months to come,” said Dharmesh Mehta, vice president of Worldwide Selling Partner Services, Amazon (AMZN).
