The head of Amazon Web Services’ (AWS) venture capital and global startups business, Jon Jones, has resigned, the company confirmed to Bloomberg.
Jones, who succeeded Howard Wright a year ago, has led Amazon’s efforts to expand AWS adoption among new businesses and deepen the company’s relationships with venture capital firms. He previously led the global AWS Go-to-Market and Specialist business.
Amazon (NASDAQ:AMZN) did not state whether a replacement for Jones has been selected.
