AMD announces resignation of Chief Accounting Officer

Advanced Micro Devices (NASDAQ:AMD) said Darla Smith resigned as Corporate Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer of the company.
Effective November 18, Smith will cease serving as AMD’s Chief Accounting Officer and continue her employment as Corporate Vice President until January 17, 2025 to assist with transition matters, the company said.
AMD also appointed Philip Carter, as its Corporate Vice President, Chief Accounting Officer and principal accounting officer, effective as of November 18.
Carter previously served as Corporate Vice President, Chief Accounting Officer at Skyworks Solutions, where he had worked since February 2017.
