Apple (AAPL) is in discussions with the U.K.-based Barclays (NYSE:BCS) and the consumer finance firm Synchrony Financial (NYSE:SYF) to replace Goldman Sachs (GS) as the technology giant’s credit card partner, Reuters reported, citing sources familiar with the matter.
