- Apple (APPL) has officially expanded its retail operations into the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia with the launch of the Apple Store online and Apple Store app, marking the first time customers in Saudi Arabia can purchase products directly from the company, rather than through authorized resellers.
- The store and app are fully localized in Arabic, simplifying browsing, purchase, and after-sales support for local users.
- Starting in 2026, Apple plans to open several flagship Apple Store locations throughout Saudi Arabia. Notably, an iconic store is being planned at Diriyah, a UNESCO World Heritage site on the outskirts of Riyadh.
- The iOS app economy and related sectors in the region are expected to benefit, further supporting job creation and local innovation.
