- The company would then start to sell the devices on Sept. 20, the news outlet added, citing people familiar with the matter.
- Apple is also likely to unveil a new version of its Mac mini computer at a later date, Bloomberg added.
- Apple did not immediately respond to a request for comment from Seeking Alpha.
- Shares rose 0.9% in afternoon trading on Friday.
