Apple likely to unveil new MacBook Pros, iMac, Mac mini at October event: report
- Fresh off this month’s event where it unveiled new iPhones, Apple Watches and AirPods, Apple (NASDAQ:AAPL) is gearing up for an event next month geared towards new Macs, Bloomberg reported.
- The tech giant is working on a new low-end, 14-inch version of its MacBook Pro laptop with the M4 chip — previously announced in May — the news outlet added, citing sources familiar with the matter. Apple is also working on 14-inch and 16-inch versions of a high-end version of the MacBook Pro, both with the pro versions of the M4 chip. Apple is also said to be working on a new iMac with an M4 chip and the redesigned Mac mini with both M4 and M4 Pro chips.
- New variations of the iPad are also said to be coming in short order, the news outlet added.
- Apple shares fell 3.2% on Monday amid worries about demand for the new iPhones.
