Apple plans to hold ‘Glowtime’ product launch on Sept. 9
Apple (NASDAQ:AAPL) revealed today it’s holding a press event for its iPhone 16 and other new products on Sept. 9 at 1 p.m. ET at its headquarters in Cupertino, Calif.
The event, which features the theme, “It’s Glowtime,” can be live-streamed on apple.com, Apple TV or YouTube.
Originally planned for Sept. 10, it was moved back one day, as the first U.S. presidential debate between Vice President Kamala Harris and Republican nominee Donald Trump will be held on that day, Bloomberg reported.
The event will likely entail Apple detailing its latest models of iPhones, Apple watches and AirPods. The iPhone 16 generation will likely include the iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max. They will also likely have on-device AI features and tools known as Apple Intelligence.
Apple might also reveal a new iPad and iPad mini, as well as the Mac mini, iMac and MacBook Pro.
The “Glowtime” theme is related to Apple’s new Siri interface.
