Apple (NASDAQ:AAPL) plans to hold its iPhone 17 launch event at 10 a.m. PDT on Tuesday, Sept. 9, which it labels as “Awe dropping.”
The event will take place at the Steve Jobs Theater in Apple Park in Cupertino, Calif. The tech giant holds the launch event every September, and it provides details about the latest line of iPhones. There are rumors Apple will unveil a slimmer iPhone model this year. The company will likely announce its new Apple Watch models. Apple has focused on integrating health features into its watches over the last few years.
New Airpods, as well as its new software interface, known as Liquid Glass, will also likely be featured. Apple first provided information on its Liquid Glass operating system at the Worldwide Developer Conference in June. Investors will likely be interested in any new features related to Apple Intelligence and the long-awaited Siri update.
Apple CEO Tim Cook posted a thermal image of the Apple logo on X at noon ET on Tuesday.
The event will be livestreamed on the Apple website.
