- Huawei Technologies has announced that Meng Wanzhou will take over for Eric Xu and become the next rotating chairperson for the Apple (NASDAQ:AAPL) rival.
- Meng, who is the daughter of Huawei founder Ren Zhengfei, will be the chairperson for the next six months and will keep her role as the company’s chief financial officer, the company said.
- Last month, Huawei launched its new tri-fold smartphone to high consumer interest.
