Apple (NASDAQ:AAPL) was sued by shareholders in a proposed class action, accusing the tech giant of downplaying the time needed to integrate advanced AI-based features into its Siri assistant, reported Reuters on Friday.
According to the report, the complaint, which was filed in San Francisco federal court, alleges that this misrepresentation hurt iPhone sales and negatively impacted Apple’s stock price.
The complaint also seeks unspecified damages for shareholders who lost money in the year ending June 9.
Apple did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
