Best Buy (NYSE:BBY) has been chosen as the exclusive big box retailer for the new Meta Ray-Ban Display glasses, according to an official statement Thursday.
The retailer said starting October 3, customers can get a demonstration of how the glasses work and learn ways to interact with specific apps through them in more than 300 stores across the U.S.
“We’ve all had that moment when a new piece of technology truly wowed us, and the Meta Ray-Ban AI glasses is one of those see-it-to-believe-it moments,” Best Buy’s chief customer, product, and fulfillment officer, Jason Bonfig, said.
Best Buy said it will also have the second generation of Meta Ray-Bans and the new Oakley Vanguard glasses available for sale in its stores.
The Meta Ray-Ban Display glasses have a price tag of $799, the Oakley Vanguard will retail for $499, and Gen 2 Meta Ray-Bans will start at $379.
