Biggest stock movers Wednesday: INTC, WRD, TVTX, and more

U.S. stock futures pointed lower on Wednesday morning following a pullback in the S&P 500 from earlier record highs.

Investors now await Bank of America, Wells Fargo, and Citigroup to report their quarterly earnings results before the market opens.

Here are some of Wednesday’s biggest stock movers:

Biggest stock gainers

  • WeRide (WRD) +1.6% The company is making robotaxi booking effortless in China via Tencent’s (TCEHY) WeChat app. Residents and visitors in WeRide’s robotaxi operating areas, including Guangzhou’s Huangpu district and Beijing’s Yizhuang district, can now book a ride directly through WeChat, without having to download a separate app.
  • Intel (INTC) +3.4% – Shares extended gains after investment firm KeyBanc upgraded the stock to Overweight from Sector Weight, citing the chipmaker’s advances in its manufacturing business and demand for its chips from AI data centers.
  • SemiLEDs (LEDS) +9% Shares rose even as revenue for the first quarter of fiscal 2026 was $2.6 million, compared to $13.2 million in the fourth quarter of fiscal 2025. The company’s cash and cash equivalents were $2.9 million at November 30, 2025, compared to $2.6 million at the end of the fourth quarter of fiscal 2025.

Biggest stock losers

  • Rivian Automotive (RIVN) -3% – Shares fell after UBS downgraded the company to sell from neutral on “elevated expectations” and less favorable risk/reward. PT set to $15, implies a 20% decrease from last close.
  • Travere Therapeutics (TVTX) -4% The US FDA has extended by three months to April 13 its review of an sNDA from Travere Therapeutics (TVTX) to expand the label for Filspari (sparsentan) for focal segmental glomerulosclerosis, a rare kidney disorder.
