Boeing is said to delay output goal for 737 Max by 6 months
- Boeing (NYSE:BA) told suppliers that it pushed back an important production target for its best-selling 737 Max jet, Reuters reported late Monday, citing people familiar with the matter.
- The aviation giant’s revised master schedule set a target of 42 a month by March 2025 for the narrowbody plane. The previous deadline was this month.
- The schedule isn’t considered an official production target. Boeing’s (BA) official plane production target is unchanged in calling for 38 Max planes a month by the end of 2024, up from about 25 a month in July.
