Boeing (NYSE:BA) won a series of multiyear contracts worth approximately $2.7 billion to produce more than 3,000 Patriot Advanced Capability-3 (PAC-3) missile seekers through 2030, as global demand for advanced air and missile defense systems continues to climb, the company announced Tuesday.
Under the agreements, Boeing (NYSE:BA) will ramp up annual production to as many as 750 seekers per year, working in partnership with Lockheed Martin (LMT), the PAC-3 prime contractor and the U.S. Army to meet growing requirements driven by evolving security threats in regions including Ukraine, the Middle East and the Indo-Pacific.

The PAC-3 seeker, designed and built by Boeing (BA) in Huntsville, Alabama, enables Patriot interceptors to detect, track and destroy a range of threats from ballistic and cruise missiles to hypersonic weapons and enemy aircraft. The contracts underscore the importance of scaling production to support both U.S. and allied defense needs.
Boeing (BA) said it has set new monthly and annual production records in 2025, with plans to deliver 650 to 700 seekers by year’s end. The company credited its increased capacity to sustained investment in factory modernization, supplier partnerships, and the completion of a 35,000-square-foot expansion at its Huntsville facilities.
Since 2000, Boeing (BA) has delivered more than 6,000 PAC-3 seekers to the U.S. Army under its long-standing collaboration with Lockheed Martin (LMT). Today, 17 countries, including the United States, deploy PAC-3 interceptors to safeguard populations and critical infrastructure worldwide, the company said.
