Boeing Co. (BA) expects to triple deliveries of seekers that guide Patriot missiles amid high demand for the air-defense system, Bloomberg News reported.
The company has built a 40,000-square-foot facility to help increase production, Steve Parker, the head of Boeing Defense, Space and Security, said Monday at the Dubai Airshow.
“We saw a demand coming well before the customer talked to us about it,” Parker said. “We’re going to be asked to stretch and we’re going to be ready.”
