Boeing (NYSE:BA) will showcase its latest advancements in aerospace technology, sustainability and defense at next week’s 2025 Paris Air Show, with a focus on innovation, partnerships and rebuilding trust.
“We continue to make fundamental changes across Boeing to strengthen safety, quality and our culture, and we are seeing steady improvement in our performance,” Boeing President and Chief Executive Kelly Ortberg said in a statement. “We look forward to connecting with our customers and partners at Le Bourget.”
This year’s air show comes as Boeing (NYSE:BA) works to restore its reputation following a series of high-profile safety incidents and intensified regulatory scrutiny. The company is operating under a production cap imposed by the Federal Aviation Administration after a door panel blowout on a 737 Max jet in January 2024 reignited concerns over manufacturing quality and oversight.
Because Boeing (BA) and archrival Airbus (OTCPK:EADSF) (OTCPK:EADSY) have backlogs of thousands of planes that will take years to fulfill, any new orders announced at the air show may not stir the same excitement as in the past. Instead, observers are more likely to seek more details about improvements to aviation supply chains. The industry has seen robust demand as travel rebounded from the pandemic.
The Boeing Pavilion at the show will feature immersive exhibits, including a full-size 777X cabin, the 777-8 Freighter Theater and the Boeing Cascade Climate Impact Model. The adjoining Wisk Aero Pavilion will highlight the company’s all-electric autonomous aircraft.
Boeing’s commercial and defense products, including the C-17, F-15 and KC-46, will be on static display, along with a special Qatar Airways 777-300ER in Paris Saint-Germain livery. Company leaders will also speak on topics ranging from sustainable aviation fuel to advanced air mobility across several high-profile panels and forums throughout the event.
Shares of Boeing (BA) on Monday traded at the highest since January 2024.
