Boeing, union leaders to resume contract talks on Tuesday
- Negotiations between Boeing (NYSE:BA) and striking factory workers in Washington state will resume Tuesday under a federal mediator, the aviation giant’s biggest labor union said. Workers last week voted to reject a proposed four-year contract and to strike.
- The union will meet with mediators assigned through the Federal Mediation and Conciliation Service and Boeing (BA) negotiations, District 751 of the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers said on its website.
- The strike has led investors and Wall Street analysts to forecast how the work stoppage will affect Boeing’s (BA) cash flow.
