Buffett’s Berkshire Hathaway sells $388M more Bank of America shares

- Warren Buffett’s Berkshire Hathaway (NYSE:BRK.B) (NYSE:BRK.A) sold ~8.55M more shares of Bank of America (NYSE:BAC) shares for $388M as the investing firm continued to pare its holdings in the bank.
- The sales took place in three tranches from Sept. 30 to Oct. 2 at prices ranging from ~$39.40 to ~$39.61 per share,, according to a filing.
- After the transactions, Berkshire (BRK.B) still holds 794M shares of Bank of America (BAC), or about 10.2% of its shares outstanding.
- The amount is slowing from previous BAC stock divestitures. Late last week, Berkshire disclosed the sale of about $460M of stock and a few days earlier sold $863M of BAC shares.
