‘Bunker’ and ‘Booster’ stocks in the U.S. – Which would perform better in a downturn vs. upturn?

BofA Securities highlighted their lists of “bunkers” and “boosters” U.S. stocks.

“Boosters” tend to perform well in an economic upturn, while “bunkers” tend to perform well during a downturn, wrote Nigel Tupper, chief global quantitative strategist at BofA, in a note.
