Caesars Entertainment (NASDAQ:CZR) announced on Friday the launch of a new online casino feature that allows players to engage with live slot machines from the casino floor via the Caesars Palace Online Casino app. The innovation was introduced at the Tropicana Atlantic City property.

The new online casino feature allows players to engage with live slot machines from the casino floor via the Caesars Palace Online Casino app on mobile and desktop. The gaming innovation was noted to mark a significant step in merging the traditional casino experience with digital convenience, enabling users to play popular physical slot titles remotely for the first time.

The Remote Reels studio, a 937-square-foot glass-enclosed space on the Tropicana casino floor, houses 25 slot machines from leading manufacturers such as Light & Wonder (LNW) and Aristocrat (OTCPK:ARLUF), all accessible to players aged 21 and over through their devices. Caesars (NASDAQ:CZR) executives highlighted the unique blend of in-person excitement and online accessibility, emphasizing that Remote Reels brings the live-action thrill of Atlantic City directly to players’ homes. The launch event featured a ceremonial first spin by casino influencer Slot Hopper and demonstrations for local media.

The initiative is part of Caesars Entertainment’s (CZR) broader strategy to enhance its online casino offerings, following recent milestones like the launch of its first in-house developed online blackjack game and a branded live-dealer studio at Tropicana Atlantic City.
