Carnival Corp’s (NYSE:CCL) Cunard luxury cruise line is launching 195 new itineraries across its fleet beginning in April 2027.
The new itineraries include 93 UNESCO World Heritage sites, and maiden voyages for the Queen Anne to Sorrento Italy, and La Rochelle, France, for the Queen Victoria to Riga, Latvia, Queen Mary 2 to Charlottetown, Canada, and Queen Elizabeth to Trieste, Italy and Calvi, France.
Following a major retrofit, the Queen Mary 2 will again make transatlantic crossings in early 2027, while the 2,500 passenger Queen Elizabeth will return to Europe in 2027 for the first time in 15 years, including ports in Palermo, Sicily, and Istanbul, Turkiye.
Carnival (NYSE:CCL) acquired an initial 68% stake in the storied Cunard Line in 1998 for $500M and the remaining 32% in 1999 $205M, making Carnival (NYSE:CCL), the world’s largest cruise line.
