Monday – November 4

The most overbought stocks per their 14-day relative strength index include Reddit (RDDT), Ceribell (CBLL), and AppLovin (APP). The most oversold stocks per their 14-day Relative Strength Index include Capri Holdings (CPRI), HomeStreet (HMST), and Qorvo (QRVO). Short interest is elevated on Spirit Airlines (SAVE) and Hertz Global (HTZ). Some of the stocks expected to move based off the election results include Geo Group (GEO), CoreCivic (CXW), Rumble (RUM), and NextEra Energy (NEE).
- IPO watch – The analyst quiet periods expire on KinderCare Learning (KLC), Upstream Bio (UPB), Star Fashion Culture (STFS), SKK Holdings (SKK), and Sky Quarry (SKYQ) to free up analysts to publish ratings. The IPO lockup period expires on blocks of shares of ZEEKR Intelligent (ZK), which has the potential to put downward pressure on shares.
- Earnings watch – Notable companies due to report include Palantir (PLTR), Marriott International (MAR), NXP Semiconductors (NXPI), and Brookfield Asset Management (BAM).
- All day – The October U.S. Factory Orders report will be released.
- All day – VMWare (AVGO) will hold its VMWare Explore event in Barcelona. Broadcom (AVGO) acquired VMware last year.
- All day – The two-day Gabelli Funds Automotive Symposium will include participation from AutoNation (AN), Autozone (AZO), Dana (DAN), Genuine Parts Company (GPC), Penske Automotive (PAG), and MP Material (MP).
Tuesday – November 5
- Earnings watch – Notable companies due to report include Ferrari (RACE), Apollo Global Management (APO), Yum! Brands (YUM), and Coupang (CPNG). Options trading implies a sizable swing in share price for Bigbear.ai (BBAI) and Revolve Group (RVLV) following their reports.
- All day – Dr. Reddy’s (RDY) will begin trading on a split-adjusted basis following the 5-for-1 stock split.
- All day – The healthcare sector will be on high alert for potential abstracts and drug data being released for the Society for Immunotherapy of Cancer and ASH conferences planned for later in the year.
Wednesday – November 6
- Earnings watch – Notable companies due to report include Toyota Motor (TM), Arm Holdings (ARM), Qualcomm (QCOM), Gilead Sciences (GILD), Mercadolibre (MELI), Celsius Holdings (CELH), Take-Two Interactive (TTWO), and CVS Health (CVS). Options trading implies a sizable swing in share price for Allbirds (BIRD) and Wolfspeed (WOLF) after their reports are released.
- All day – Notable investor events include The Future of AI Conference in London, with speakers from Google DeepMind, Microsoft (MSFT), and Eli Lilly (LLY) due to participate.
- 8:00 a.m. Celsius Holdings (CELH) will hold its earnings call. Updates from management on the distribution deal with PepsiCo (PEP) could be key.
All day – The MSCI Index review announcement is scheduled to be made. The announcement typically includes additions to and deletions from various MSCI indexes, such as the MSCI ACWI Index, MSCI World Index, MSCI Emerging Markets Index, and others.
Thursday – November 7
- Earnings watch – Notable companies due to report include Arista Networks (ANET), Airbnb (ABNB), Warner Bros. Discovery (WBD), US Foods (USFD), Hershey (HSY), and Duke Energy (DUK). Options trading implies a sizable swing in share price for Oscar Health (OSCR) and Sweetgreen (SG) after their reports are released.
- All day – The Manheim Used Vehicle Index report will be released.
- All day – Notable investor events include CSX Corporation’s Investor Day event and Veeva Systems’ (VEEV) Virtual Investor Day.
- All day – Lucid Group (LCID) will open up customer orders for the Lucid Gravity. Orders will initially be taken for the Grand Touring trim, priced from $94,900. Current Lucid owners will be given priority for deliveries.
- 8:00 a.m. Tapestry (TPR) will hold its earnings conference call. The management update will have added significance following the recent decision from a judge to block the merger with Capri (CPRI).
- 8:30 a.m. The Bank of England will make its interest rate policy announcement.
- 2:00 p.m. The Federal Reserve’s policymaking committee will issue its policy statement.
- 2:30 p.m. Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell will hold a press conference.
8:30 a.m. NXP Semiconductors N.V. (NXPI) will host an in-person Investor Day event for buy-side institutional investors and sell-side equity analysts. The event will include presentations and Q&A sessions with the company’s senior leadership team.
Friday – November 8
- Earnings watch – Notable companies due to report include Fluor (FLR), NRG Energy (NRG), and Baxter (BAX).
- All day – The World Agricultural Supply and Demand Estimates report will be released by the World Agricultural Outlook Board.
- All day – Notable investor events include Molina Healthcare’s (MOH) Investor Day event.
