Cathie Wood’s Ark Invest weekly moves: Adds to NTLA and XYZ, trims positions in SOFI and SHOP

ARK Invest, led by Cathie Wood, continued to reposition its portfolios with a clear tilt toward healthcare and financial names, while paring back exposure to technology and communication services amid profit-taking and portfolio realignment.

ARK Investment Management, led by Cathie Wood, has increased its position in Intellia Therapeutics (NTLA) by acquiring an additional 13.3M shares. Intellia Therapeutics is known for its advancements in gene editing technology, which may have significant implications for future treatments.

The funds also highlighted investment in Pacific Biosciences of California (PACB), adding 2,224,243 shares across three trading days.

ARK has a significant and actively managed position in 10x Genomics (TXG), with buying of 734,701 after adding heavily in late 2024 and mid-2025, reflecting continued conviction in the company despite past losses on the investment.

ARK Invest increased its crypto exposure by adding 105,013 shares of Bullish (BLSH) worth $5.3 million, bringing total investment to 2.27 million shares valued at $114 million.

ARK made a $30.7 million investment in Block (XYZ), buying 385,585 shares across ARKK, ARKW, and ARKF ETFs.

In another notable trade, Cathie Wood has a significant, but fluctuating, position in DraftKings (DKNG), characterized by recent large purchases after periods of selling. ARK ETFs bought nearly 866,099 shares after buying nearly 500,000 shares in late October 2025, and a large purchase of over 236,000 shares on October 14, 2025, indicating a strong recent interest in the stock, though she has also sold a substantial number of shares in earlier quarters.

Other smaller transactions included the purchase of Amazon (AMZN), Alibaba (BABA) and Deere & Co (DE) shares.

On the sell side, Cathie Wood’s Ark Invest trimmed its position in SoFi Technologies (SOFI) by 133,917 shares ahead of the fintech firm’s upcoming quarterly results, and more than 321,000 shares were sold across multiple sessions since the beginning of October.

Wood sold 357,585 shares of Canadian e-commerce platform Shopify (SHOP), ahead of its Q3FY25 results, due on November 4.

Ark Invest sold a total of 605,031 shares of Iridium Communications (IRDM) through the ARKK ETF.

The other most notable trades included sales of Advanced Micro Devices (AMD), Palantir Technologies (PLTR), Roblox (RBLX).
