The CEOs of Nvidia (NVDA) and AMD (AMD) are kicking off CES 2026 next week in Las Vegas with presentations that will highlight developments and innovations in artificial intelligence.
The event, which is considered one of the premier annual tech conferences in the world, runs from January 6-9. It is orchestrated by the Consumer Technology Association. Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang and AMD CEO Lisa Su will hold their presentations on Monday, Jan. 5.
“We expect Jensen to focus a lot of his keynote speech on data centers and physical AI and robotics front and center,” said Wedbush analysts, led by Dan Ives, in a Monday investor note. “Advancements on Nvidia Cosmos foundation model platform for accelerating the development of AI systems will be a focus for Jensen in our view while discussing autonomous technology in a key 2026 year ahead.”
Meanwhile, Su is expected to discuss advancements in AMD’s Ryzen CPUs and Radeon graphics in AI PCs and gaming during her keynote. She will also likely discuss AMD EPYC processors and Instinct GPUs.
“As technology rapidly transforms every industry, CES remains the premier stage to showcase breakthrough solutions,” Su said.
Although the rising importance of AI use cases for enterprises will be discussed, Wedbush believes new consumer devices for AI will be highlighted as well.
“While enterprise AI has ruled the narrative the last few years, we now believe the consumer AI Revolution kicks into full gear in 2026 with CES highlighting the rise of AI enabled robotics, wearables such as AI smart glasses, and a host of consumer on device AI products in the digital health and smart home arena,” Ives added.
