CMS has released premium and deductible information for Medicare Part A and Part B for 2026 reflecting modest increases.
For Part A, an inpatient hospital deductible is will cost $1736, up from $1676 this year, for the first 60 days. Days 61-90 will have coinsurance of $434, up from $419.
For Part B, the standard monthly premium will be $202.90 from $185.00 in 2025. The annual deductible is rising to $283 from $257.
As before, high-income enrollees will pay more for Part B coverage. For example, the highest 2026 premium amount for 2026 is $689.90 for those who file jointly and have an adjusted gross income of $750,000 or more.
