Cunard cruise bookings up 23% from last year
With the launch of its newest ship, the Queen Anne, and three new cruise itineraries, Cunard (NYSE:CCL) saw the highest number of bookings for the first 10 months of 2024, a 23% increase from the same period last year.
Between January 1 and October 31, the British cruise line saw a 49% increase in first-time guests, with more than half of its total bookings now coming from outside the UK.
“As we look ahead to 2025, we are proud to report record-breaking bookings that demonstrate the continued strength of Cunard’s commercial performance,” said Cunard President, Katie McAlister.
Carnival (CCL) purchased a 68% stake in Cunard in 1998 and the remaining 32% a year later.
