Dell partners with Nvidia to help deliver AI computing power for enterprises

Dell Technologies (DELL) is integrating advanced Nvidia (NVDA) hardware into its servers to provide enterprises with the power to drive artificial intelligence applications and high-performance computing.

Dell revealed its new PowerEdge XE8712 server on Monday. A standard rack can feature up to 144 Nvidia Blackwell GPUs per Dell IR7000 rack. It will be available in December. Dell will also begin offering Enterprise SONiC Distribution and its SmartFabric Manager, both with support for Nvidia’s Spectrum-X. These are expected to be available during the first half of 2026.

In addition, the Dell AI Factory with NVIDIA now includes solutions with Dell PowerEdge XE7740/XE7745 servers featuring NVIDIA RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell Server Edition GPUs and NVIDIA Hopper GPUs. Dell is also expanding its Automation Platform and its storage engines with Nvidia solutions.

“The Dell AI Factory with NVIDIA solves the problem every enterprise is facing: how to move from AI pilots to production without rebuilding their infrastructure,” said Dell Chief Operating Officer Jeff Clarke. “We’ve done the integration work so customers don’t have to, which means they can deploy faster and scale with confidence.”

Shares of Dell were down 7% during early Monday market action. The Texas-based company received a double downgrade from Morgan Stanley as the surge of memory prices is expected to drive down margins for its servers in 2026.
