Dell returns to S&P 500 after decade-plus hiatus
- Dell Technologies (NYSE:DELL) returned to the S&P 500 Index this week as the company returns to the listing for the first time since 2013 when the Texas-based company went private.
- It replaced the e-commerce site Etsy (ETSY).
- “We’re excited to rejoin the S&P 500,” said Dell CEO Michael Dell. “As we enter the age of AI, Dell Technologies has never been better positioned to deliver extraordinary value to our customers and shareholders.”
