Billionaire Elon Musk said xAI’s chatbot Grok is coming to Tesla (NASDAQ:TSLA) vehicles very soon.
Shares of Tesla rose about 1% premarket on Thursday.
On Wednesday, xAI launched an updated version of the flagship AI model, Grok 4. Grok would compete with AI models like Microsoft-backed OpenAI’s (MSFT) ChatGPT and Alphabet unit (GOOG) (GOOGL) Google’s Gemini, capable of analyzing images and answering questions.
“Grok is coming to Tesla vehicles very soon. Next week at the latest,” said Musk in a post on X, formerly Twitter.
Grok 4 is better than PhD level in every subject Musk had said during a livestream on Wednesday night.
The AI model is integrated into Musk’s social platform X, which xAI recently acquired.
