European Commission to decide on Google’s Wiz acquisition by Feb. 10: report

The European Commission will decide by Feb. 10 whether to clear Alphabet’s (GOOGL) (GOOG) $32B acquisition of cybersecurity company Wiz, Reuters reported.

The European Commission did not immediately respond to a request for comment from Seeking Alpha.

Last year in March, Alphabet announced it was acquiring cybersecurity startup Wiz for $32B to boost its cloud security offerings.

In November 2025, Israel-based Wiz cleared a U.S. Justice Department antitrust review of the acquisition.
